Racing Returns to Tri-City Raceway Park This Sunday
(Franklin, PA June 13, 2023): The rodeo is over but there will be no shortage of horsepower at Tri-City Raceway Park this Sunday, June 18. The big, fast oval comes back to life as promoter Merle Black welcomes back the racers and race fans for a Father’s Day celebration like no other.
The program will consist of the Diehl Chevrolet 410 Sprint Cars, the A & MP electric Inc. UMP Modifieds, the Hovis Auto and Truck Supply Pro Stocks, and the 4 Your Car Connection Four Cylinder Mini Stocks.
In addition to the racing, there will be an awards ceremony for the top runners in the Hovis Auto and Truck Supply Pro Stocks and the 4 Your Car Connection Mini Stocks based upon their achievements in 2022.
The Pit gates will swing open at 2 p.m. and the spectator gates will open at 4 p.m. Racing will commence at 6 p.m.
The regular event ticket pricing will apply. So, adults will be admitted for $15, and seniors (ages 62 and up) and students (ages 10 to 16) will be admitted for $13. The children (under age 10) will be admitted for free, as usual. The Family Passes will be available for $45, and they are good for two adults of any age and two students. Pit Passes will be $30.

If you cannot make it to the track for Father’s Day, remember that the speedway will have events on the following two Saturdays. July 1 will be a normal racing program, just moved a day ahead. The admission prices (excluding Pit Passes) will be reduced to only five dollars and there will be fireworks to celebrate Independence Day! Then, on July 8 will be the Northwest Truck and Tractor Pull. There will be no auto racing on July 9.
Children of all ages will want to come to Tri-City Raceway Park on July 16, when the speedway has Christmas in July. Any patron dressed in Christmas attire will receive free popcorn! So, break out those ugly Christmas sweaters and Santa Claus hats!
