Wild West Rodeo Fun at Tri-City Raceway Park on Saturday

(June 6, 2023):  After three successive weeks of exciting auto racing on the big oval at Tri-City Raceway Park, a different kind of horsepower will be on display as the All American Rodeo Company will bring horses, calves, bulls, and steers onto the grounds to compete under the umbrella of the International Professional Rodeo Association. The rodeo will feature some of the most popular contests this Saturday evening, June 10. Fans who have not experienced the Wild West flavor will want to check it out!

The festivities will begin at 6 p.m. with opening ceremonies, followed by a Grand Entry Parade on Horseback. The first event will be the Bareback Bronc Riding. Steer Wrestling will take place before the Saddle Bronc Riding. Team Roping will be held before the popular Cowgirl Barrel Racing. Calf Roping and Bull Riding will test the dexterity and strength of the competitors. The Cowgirls Breakaway Roping will conclude the fun.

The gates will open at 4 p.m.

Tickets will be $15 if purchased in advance, and $18 if purchased at the gate. Children six and under will be admitted for free. To take advantage of the advance purchase discount, please go to the website, Tri-CityRacewayPark.com.

Racing will resume on Sunday, June 18. The Father’s Day Special will feature the 410 Sprint Cars going for the Diehl Chevrolet title. The A & MP electric, Inc. UMP Modifieds will be back for their second appearance. The Hovis Auto & Truck Supply Pro Stocks and the 4 Your Car Connection Four Cylinder Mini Stocks will also be on hand.

The awards will also be presented on June 18 to the top racers from 2022 in the Hovis Auto & Truck Supply Pro Stocks and the 4 Your Car Connection Mini Stocks.
